The Combine soldier in panel seven is me; to get that shot, I set up a camera to follow me as I strafed back and forth, firing away and hammering the Take Screenshot button. A loop of the resulting pictures can be found in the Extras section.

When it came to the blood splatter of the Elite in panel three, I set up two emitters; one sprayed blood, the other made shotgun shells. I started the emitters and then mashed the Take Screenshot button; a loop of the resulting carnage can also be found in the Extras section.
